We are a sessional kindergarten with a committee and we are the oldest kindergarten is the association. We have a wonderful archive of old photos which help us to connect with the past along with a further history of the Miropiko pa site. We have been lucky to have an association with people from the original hapu; most recently through Wiremu Puke.
We love
our time at Miropiko pa on a Monday morning, we feel Tawhirimatea playing in
the trees, we say hello to Tane Mahuta’s children, and get lots of air in our
lungs. In this photo we were playing hide and seek and we found heaps of cicada
cases on a tree.
